Episode 65: Shadow’s Curse, Digimon, and the Art of War

The only way I can describe today’s show is caffeinated. The main topic of today’s show was The Shadow’s Curse, by Amy McCulloch, a sequel to the Oathbreaker’s Shadow, which I talked about on an earlier show.

But as regular listeners of the show know, there is no way I can stick with a script or topic. From the moment Back in Black by AC/DC starts playing, I dive into a rave and rant, mostly expressing my rage that my favorite tv shows are getting the axe, only to be counteracted by the best news of the year: WE’RE GETTING 6 DIGIMON MOVIES!!!

Digimon Adventure Tri is now being made into 6 movies which makes a lot of sense from a content perspective. On the other hand we westerners have to wait anywhere from six months to a year to watch them.

None of it matters – DIGIMON IS BACK.

Once I’m done with my rats (17 minutes in) I get to the damn point – discussing a great book that I liked, but still found things that rubbed me the wrong way.
