I finally did it! I finally went to see the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie, and I am so so happy about it. So in fact that I spent the entire night before recording the show thinking about the movie and this thing basically took over my life for a while.
In today’s show I compare the two movies and really get in deep as to why Age of Ultorn is one of the best superhero movies of all time. Joss Whedon managed to do the one thing that everyone else failed at – he humanized the Avengers. That farmhouse scene… man, that farmhouse scene.
I’m not gonna spoil anything, but suffice it to say I do squeal a lot on this show. Yeah… sorry about that. But it’s the Avengers dammit – if you’re as big a nerd as I am and don’t squeal a little when Vision grabs Thor’s hammer (I swear to god I’m twelve sometimes) then you’re dead inside.
Dead, I tell you.
For the serious portion of the show I rant about 3D glasses and my eternal hatred for them, and also mention the 2012 Aurora theatre shooting case, because we had new developments. Here’s the article I quoted: http://news.yahoo.com/psychiatrist-childs-death-saddens-colorado-theater-shooter-170800641.html
On a lighter note, I then spend the next half an hour geeking out about what truly matters – superheroes and the stuff that makes us all happy.

PS. I have no idea what happened to my energy levels at the end of the show. Guess I was too distracted by what I was reading while looking for a nugget of information I accidentally left out of the script.
That, and I have the attention span of a rabbit on crack.
